Design Between Architecture and Jewelry
It is evident through history that humans express themselves, and their way of life, through art, architecture, design, and jewelry. Architecture, however, is an integral part in the story of the human development. It shapes societies, improves lives, and stands to represent who we are and how we see ourselves. Jewelry is personal, worn on the body but also like architecture can be representative of our status and be an expression of our personality.
In this challenge, you will discover the traditional architectural identities and its transition into our modern times. Take a journey inwards to discover yourself better and design unique a jewelry piece that reflects Saudi Arabia’s.

The Design Studio by Azza Fahmy:The Design Studio by Azza Fahmy was established in 2013. They are considered the first Contemporary Jewellery Making and Jewellery Design School in Egypt and the Middle East. They provide an international quality education through programs developed in collaboration with international teachers, designers and consultants with extensive experience in design. DSAF harnesses the creative energy and innovative thinking of students. They learn traditional techniques passed down through generations of masters. The success of their structure rests on the combination of absorbing tradition and enrichment of knowledge.
