From Idea to Bookshelf

Since the time of Al-Jahiz, ornate and illuminated books have been attacked by claiming that they are an external decoration that obscures the content's shallowness. But in fact, the first thing that draws us to a book, which we have not heard of before, is its cover.

During the challenge, you will work on designing a cover in which beauty embraces the spirit of the literature. To create a visual masterpiece that stimulate the reader's imagination towards the content of the book, its ideas thoughts and cultural context. You will work directly with Tashkeel Publishing House to design a book cover that goes from idea to bookshelves and reaches the readers' hands.
