Lightening Session Department of Seaweed

Prof Julia Lohmann from the Department of Seaweed at Aalto University, Finland will share the departments work, the research and the creative methods they utilize. Prof Lohmann will highlight the importance as a designer and creative of responding directly to the environmental conditions, materials and resources you find. With a virtual a tour of her own workspace and highlights from recent fieldtrips we will discover her creative process. A process which makes change imaginable through co-speculation and highlights the need for transformations towards sustainability.
