Legendary Street Artist Carlos Mare

Carlos “Mare139” Rodriguez (aka Carlos Mare) is a famous figure in the New York urban art scene. The artist’s sculptural artworks and prints pay homage to graffiti lettering but also draw from historical art movements that have both influenced and been influenced by calligraffiti movements across the globe. Mare shares his lifetime of learning as he has moved from street to gallery, from trains to the metaverse, and from 2D to 3D in his work.
