Awatif Al Safwan is a well-known batik artist who has been participating in exhibitions inside and outside the Kingdom since 1992. She has been awarded various national and international prizes. Al Safwan highlights human concerns, anxiety and women’s rights. Her distinctive style in drawing miniature paintings is highly recognizable.
