This architectural challenge is an immersive 6-day program that channels creativity and innovation to showcase the true power of design in upgrading form and function. This comprehensive design-based challenge aims to create a lasting impact across communities, both locally and internationally.

Participants are invited to redefine the structural concepts of traveling pavilions, creating a pavilion that can change in size and shape to accommodate various amounts of people and a wide range of activities.

Drawing inspiration from Origami, the ancient Japanese art of folding paper, participants will experiment with different folding techniques and apply them to light, sustainable materials in order to construct a pavilion that can easily travel from one location to another, and that users can continue to tailor to their changing needs.

The primary goal of this challenge is to harness creativity to design a product with its own malleable properties that contrast with the rigidness of its original material, thereby pioneering a new pavilion concept that has the potential to create an impact and inspire global innovation and originality.

This is an opportunity to reinterpret design concepts, work with experts in the field, and network with like-minded creatives. If you have a background in design, architecture, or engineering, this is your chance to showcase your talent and make a meaningful contribution to the design scene.
