For Saudi Founding Day, the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) celebrates three centuries of our Kingdom’s era since its origination. The Founding Day programs and events will commemorate Saudi Arabia’s eternal glory and our shared roots that have grown deep and strong over the centuries. Through pride, we will sing the history of this homeland that will forever hold our hearts.

Can I purchase more than one ticket to enter the Center?
Entering the Center is free.
Are children allowed to enter the Center?
All ages are welcomed.
Does entering the Center to attend the event require purchasing a ticket?
Entry to the Center for the Founding Day event is free. Some of the current exhibitions require purchasing a ticket
How can I purchase tickets?
Tickets are available through the website and the box-office.
How long will the Founding Day events run?
Events will take place from Wednesday to Friday, February 22 – 24.
Does the Center have special discounts for members?
Yes, Ithra membership holders get special discounts.
What kind of events will the Center host for Founding Day?
Plays, workshops, a bazaar, interactive programs, musical performances, a falcon show and movies.
What are the open hours during the Founding Day festivities?
The Center welcomes visitors from 4 – 11 p.m.
Are there special discounts for Aramco employees?
No.
Will there be fireworks?
No.
What kind of theater show will the Center present?
It will be a musical show about Saudi folklore.
What is the allowed age to enter the Cinema and Theater?
The Theater show welcomes visitors who are 10+ and Cinema welcomes visitors who are 4+.
Will there be performances?
Yes, the Saudi Ardah will take place in the Lush Garden and there will be a musical show in the Plaza.
Will there be presents for the visitors?
No.
Will there be a competition for the most elegant traditional costume for the visitors as part of the Founding Day events?
No, there will not be a competition for the most elegant traditional costume in Ithra.
