A three-day public event occuring at the Ithra Library in Dhahran, the King Fahd National Library in Riyadh and iRead Library at the first secondary school in Tabuk designed to inspire people to read and to build reading stamina, as well as announcing Ithra's commitment to planting a tree for every 100 pages read, as a contribution to the Saudi Green Initiative. The goal is to reach a total of 200,000 pages and plant 2,000 trees.
You can participate by visiting us at the Ithra Library in Dhahran, or at the King Fahad National Library in Riyadh, or at the reading library in the First High School in Tabuk. After that, you must register your information to receive the marathon booklet.

You are welcome to read any of the available books in the marathon libraries. The participant can bring their own book, but the reading should be done at one of the three libraries.

The participant will register his/her information before starting the marathon at the reception area. Then, the number of read pages will be written down at the booklet. After reading, the participant must visit the reception to register the number of pages. The participant will receive the type of medal based on number of pages.
No, the Center will count and plant the number of trees at the end of the marathon.
