Sustainable Packaging Design (Arabic)

How can designers and design thinking help to tackle the problem of plastic waste? What are the alternatives to single-use plastics and how can we look to and learn from nature to devise more sustainable solutions to our packaging needs?
 
Using a series of design exercises, this two-day workshop will take participants through a process of research, ideation, material selection, product lifecycle analysis, and prototype development. The aim is not only to devise a new form of edible or biodegradable packaging, but to explore strategies for removing single-use plastics from our daily consumption and use. Join us and use design to make a difference!
