These elaborate challenges provide the perfect opportunity for up-and-coming creatives, as well as seasoned professionals, to team up with industry-renowned advisers to bring their ideas to life.

Tanween’s annual challenges push participants to craft original, practical solutions within tight timeframes and limited resources. Across different industries, each challenge welcomes 20 participants – individuals or in teams, to put their creative skillsets to the test. Supported by the challenge partners, and a supporting program of workshops and talks, participants will have the tools to tackle the challenge and execute their solution.

The Tanween journey extends beyond the one-week challenge, allowing participants to see their ideas realized through a comprehensive production phase following the creation of prototypes. The challenges empower designers and widen their perspectives by allowing them to work with prominent experts in the field who help them transform their ideas into tangible and usable products, thereby giving them the opportunity to leave a positive mark on society.
