Ithra hosts a collection from The Ultimate Journey exhibition, which includes a selection of paintings made by artists from the region depicting the three mosques: the Grand Mosque in Holy Makkah, the Prophet's Mosque in Medina, and Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, which are part of the collection commissioned by the Layan Cultural Foundation in 2005, in light of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) selection of Holy Makkah as the Cultural Capital of Islamic World.
