The seventh edition of the Cultural Majlis kicks off with several interesting dialogues that reflect on the Year of the Camel. On three sucessive Wednesdays of the holy month of Ramadan, we invite you to attend discussions on different camel-related topics such as history, culture, literature and recent economic and commercial trends.
The Cultural Majlis will be held every Wednesday during the holy month of Ramadan, featuring three panel discussions on March 13, 20 and 27 which correspond with Ramadan and start from 10:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

The main theme of the Majlis will be “The Year of the Camel,” and its first panel discussion will discuss the Cultural and Historical Value of Camels, then Camels in Arab Literature in its second session, while the last and final session titled Sand Gold will discuss the role played by camels in economy and commerce.
To explain the close relationship that camels have with the Arab society throughout the ages and examine this bond from different angles such as history, literature, art, travel and commerce.
It targets all specialists and any one who is interested and aged 16 and above.
No, you do not need a ticket as the session will take place at Ithra’s Garden and will be accessible to all visitors.
