From the Library to the Big Screen

Books are a major source of inspiration for filmmakers; and so in this talk we attempt to trace the journey of great books when they are adapted into motion pictures, and examine the challenges and breakthroughs that occur during the process of bringing written stories to the big screen. We will delve into various book genres, from classic literature to contemporary bestsellers, and highlight the elements that can make film adaptations of books so memorable.
