Crafts of the People

Prerequisite Ticket

Ithra’s ‘Crafts of the People’ installation comprises five videos, previously shown in the ‘Kingdom of Cultures’ exhibition, and presents a history of Saudi craftsmanship. This video experience encourages visitors to watch various artisans and listen to them tell their artistic stories about how crafts connect the Saudi people with nature. This exhibit will complement the major show, ‘In Praise of the Artisan’, to be held in Gallery 3. With a corresponding theme, both exhibits will highlight the knowledge and diversity within the traditional crafts scene of Saudi Arab.
