Join us for Ithra Summer Camp 2024 where children learn to appreciate nature, conserve resources and reduce waste through immersive art and culture practices. By blending nature awareness with cultural heritage, the camp provides a unique learning experience through interactive hands-on/minds-on programs that promote sustainability. This approach can nurture well-rounded individuals who are not only sustainability-minded but also culturally aware and socially engaged.

Educational goals:

  • Foster cultural competence by promoting understanding, respect and appreciation for different cultural perspectives and practices related to sustainability.
  • Raise awareness among individuals, communities and institutions about the interdependence of culture and sustainability.
  • Foster research and innovation at the intersection of culture and sustainability.
  • Forge sustainability pathways that honor the past, empower present generations and safeguard the future.

FAQs

How do I register for the Summer Camp?

To register, you have two options:

Option 1: You can visit Ithra and register at the information desk.

Option 2: You can register through Ithra’s website.

Are children under three and a half years old allowed to attend?

The minimum age for participants is four years old; the maximum age is 12 years old.

What is the children’s daily schedule?

The schedule of daily activities is listed on the Ithra website.

"I completed the registration on the website, but the payment did not go through"

Please visit Ithra to complete your registration as soon as possible.

Where will the photos taken at the camp be posted?

Photos are taken spontaneously of all participants of all age groups and some of them will be posted on social media at different times. If you do not wish to have a participant’s photo posted on social media, please inform us by noting it in the registration form.

Can I get a refund for my ticket(s)?

The Summer Camp tickets cannot be refunded.

Can I change the registration period?

You can change the period and language if there is a vacancy in another group.

May I register my child in a track outside their age group?

Each track is designed to conform with the certain age group, and the activities and information are chosen to suit the nature of each group accordingly. Therefore, registering your child at a different age group limits their knowledge and experience during the camp.

"The cost was deducted from my bank card, but the reservation did not go through"

Please visit Ithra to complete your registration as soon as possible.

Can I attend with my children?

The Summer Camp ticket only includes the participant without a guardian.

What is the duration of the program?

Programs run for eight days — from Monday to Thursday — over two weeks.

Are meals provided for the children?

Yes, a daily meal will be provided to participants.

How will my child (4 to 6 years) go to the bathroom?

We encourage your child(ren) to be trained to go to the bathroom independently. However, there will be a general supervisor when needed.

Will a certificate of participation be given to campers?

There is no certificate of participation for the Ithra Summer Camp.
