Have you ever wondered about the mysteries that unfold within a museum's walls when its doors are closed?

Picture an exhilarating adventure where campers delve into the hidden world behind museum doors. Campers explore the conservation and preservation of museum artifacts, and step into the role of artists in the museums and engage in sustainable practices to contribute by applying their skills and knowledge.

From delicate restoration techniques to innovative designs, campers will gain a deep appreciation for the care and dedication required to safeguard our cultural heritage. Along the way, they will learn about the historical significance of these artifacts, discovering the stories and traditions they hold.

Educational goals:

  • Promote a deep appreciation for the cultural heritage that these objects represent and learn to value and respect the stories, traditions and knowledge embodied in these artifacts.
  • Develop an understanding of professional museum practices and the roles of museum professionals in preserving cultural heritage.
