Have you ever wondered how our food goes from farm to table while prioritizing sustainability?

In this track, young campers immerse themselves in the world of food production from start to finish. Campers begin at the farm, where they engage and explore to uncover the intricacies of agriculture, livestock, poultry and aquaculture.
Campers will then have the opportunity to explore edible cutlery and the art of plating. These activities enhance their understanding of food presentation, making meals visually appealing while maintaining sustainable principles.

Educational goals:

  • Introduce children to the concepts of agriculture, livestock, poultry and aquaculture
  • Instill the importance of sustainable farming practices for the environment and future generations
  • Foster an appreciation for where our food comes from and the hard work involved in food production
  • Encourage curiosity and critical thinking about food systems and their impact on society
