From twigs and seashells to canvas and paint…

Discover the beauty of diverse materials as young artists dive into the world of art creations while using what already exist to give life to crafts, sculptures and paintings. Campers explore the vast array of natural, repurposed, unused and recycled elements that can be transformed into stunning artworks. By incorporating these materials into their creations, bio artists forge a deeper connection with nature and showcase the innate beauty found in their surroundings.

Educational goals:

  • Discover and appreciate the diverse range of natural materials that can be used in art creation
  • Encourage participants to think creatively and express their unique artistic visions by transforming natural materials into artworks
  • Understand the value of using sustainable resources in art and how art can be a powerful tool for promoting sustainable practices
