This event brings together translators who have worked on the writings of Haruki Murakami, one of the most widely read authors in Japanese literature. The discussion is not limited to Murakami’s work but goes on to explore Japanese literature as a whole. This session includes analysis from different perspectives – behavioral, intellectual and the impact of literature on readers – highlighting the most important contributions of Japanese literature.
