How do games reflect different cultures? Is there a game that you think carries special meanings in your community? And what role do games play in strengthening social bonds between generations?
Japan has a long tradition of playing and has preserved many historical games that have been passed down through the centuries.
In our open stations at the Children's Museum, we will learn more about these games, their history and their significance in Japanese culture. We’ll also enjoy playing them with our friends and family.
We will nurture our creativity and enthusiasm for learning by raising many questions regarding these games. Do they evoke any memories of your childhood games?
Let's explore this rich heritage and share our experiences!
