Writing an Autobiography

Course Brief Description:

Recently, writing an autobiography or a memoir has gone viral. Thus, everyone believes there is something worth writing about in their life stories; everyone’s life is personal, special and unique, just like a fingerprint. This course is important for those who work in cultural sectors, literature writers, autobiography or memoir authors and publishers. 
Over five exciting days for five hours, participants will overcome challenges in revealing their ideas and personal life in the Arabic world. 
Acknowledging the essential tools and techniques will lead them to achieve their goals in writing a professional autobiography or memoir of themselves or others. Through several interactive activities and analyzations, they will build and improve all the skills needed in order to become famous professional writers.

• Specifying autobiographies considering their genre, tools, techniques and properties. 
• Building a successful plan in order to accomplish a great written text. 
• Choosing accurate characters for the written piece.
• Improving writing skills and perfecting their properties.  
• Encouraging participants to begin their writing journey professionally.
• Acknowledging the challenges regarding publicity in the Arab world and how to resolve them.

• To build a professional plan in order to write an outstanding completed autobiography or memoir.
• To collect the resources and information needed to start writing an autobiography.
• To present the plot for the autobiography using suitable language and style.
• To cleverly choose the hooks and events in order to cause great anticipation and make a remarkable autobiography. 
• To master the tools and techniques in order to build the characters.
• To establish writing the first chapter of their autobiography.
