Ahmed Al-Mulla is a Saudi poet, and he is considered as one of the pioneers of the cinema industry in the Kingdom. He established and managed the first edition of the Saudi Film Festival in 2008. In addition, he established the Cinema Association in 2021. He is a consultant to the CEO of the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts since 2018. He was a member of board of directors in the Cultural Center in the Eastern Province, as well as Arryadi chief editor from 1997 to 2003. He was the director of the national archive initiative for Saudi films. Ahmed holds a bachelor’s degree in social studies from the college of art at King Saud University in 1982.
