Aisha Khalid was born in Faisalabad in 1972 and is a multimedia artist who completed her postgraduate studies at the Rijksakademie, Amsterdam in 2002. Schooled in miniature painting, she lives and works in Lahore.  A retrospective of her work, I AM and I AM NOT, was mounted in Karachi (2021-22) and featured an accompanying catalog.
