The Head of Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center. He is the Secretary General for Sheikh Zayed Book Award and Editor-in-Chief for the center's (Al-Markaz) journal for higher studies (the first peer-reviewed journal that is completely published in Arabic by Brill). He held many positions within the cultural and traditional sectors in the United Arab Emirates. He was Head of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre, and the head of the executive committee, and a member of the jury panel for many leading cultural awards in UAE including The Prince of Poets Award, Dubai Cultural Award and Khalifa Educational Award. He was a member of the high committee of the State Appreciation Award.
