Ghassan Ghaib was born in Baghdad in 1964 and studied at the Fine Arts Institute and the Academy of Fine Arts in Baghdad. He left Iraq in 2003 and now lives in the United States. A monograph on his artist books was published in 2021 to accompany an exhibition in Amman.
