Inaam Kachachi is an Iraqi writer, novelist, and journalist who has been living in France for decades. She works in journalism and translation. Her novels include Sawaqi Al Quloob (2005); The American Granddaughter (2008), which was shortlisted for the International Prize for Arabic Fiction in 2009 and has been published in English, French, and Chinese; and Tashari which was shortlisted in 2014 and was published in French. She recently published her short story collection Bilad Al-Takh Takh.
