Mansour Albadran

Mansour Albadran is a film director and producer from Saudi Arabia. Since 2008, he has directed short films, documentaries, online series and commercials within the Kingdom. In 2016, he earned a degree in Cinema Production with honors from DePaul University in the US. Albadran has participated in several film festivals around the world, including the Abu Dhabi Film Festival, Diwa Filipino Film Festival and the Saudi Film Festival, winning two awards: Best Student Film at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival (2011) and runner-up in the documentary category of Al-Ahsa Short Social Films Festival (2018). In addition to directing, Mansour works as a film producer and a cinema coordinator on the cinema team at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. As a film director, Mansour’s mission is to tell entertaining, high-value cinematic stories that create cultural bridges to and from his local environment and heritage.
