Established in 2003, the Beethoven Academy Orchestra stands as one of Poland’s premier symphony orchestras, comprising students and graduates from esteemed European music institutions, including the Academy of Music in Krakow and the Royal Music Conservatoire in Brussels.

 

Under the artistic direction of Marcin Klejdysz, the orchestra made its debut at the 9th Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival in 2005, earning accolades and invitations to prestigious festivals worldwide. Boasting an impressive discography of seventeen albums recorded for labels such as DUX Poland and Universal Music, the orchestra has proven its versatility from classical scores to entertainment and film music, collaborating with industry giants like Warner Bros and Monolith, and partnering with renowned figures such as Krzysztof Penderecki and Hans Zimmer.

 

Since November 2013, Maestro Jacek Kaspszyk has served as the principal conductor, guiding the ensemble to new heights. In March 2018, Universal Music released the album "Waves of My Life" featuring the music of Emirati artist Ihab Darwish premiering at the famous Abu Dhabi Music Festival.

 

With an illustrious history and an unwavering commitment to musical excellence, the Beethoven Academy Orchestra continues to captivate audiences globally.
