Sadik Kwaish Alfraji was born in Baghdad in 1960. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, Baghdad, graduating in 1987, and has a diploma in graphic design from CHK Constantijn Huygens, Netherlands, where he now lives. A 2021 retrospective of his work with an accompanying publication was held at Kunsthal KAdE in the Netherlands.
