Dean of E-Learning and Supervisor of Programs and Curricula Management at University of Tabuk, and works as an Educational Advisor at the Saudi Esports Academy. He holds a doctorate from Purdue University where he specialized in developing game design studios. Dr. Alshammari’s research agenda focuses on the use of educational studios in teaching game design, developing electronic games designed for training and educational purposes, as well as harnessing technology to positively influence gamers’ opinions and value systems. He has extensive experience in research and projects, and has given numerous lectures, seminars, and workshops in the field of e-learning and game design. Dr. Alshammari has also designed the educational curricula for the Gamers Season and has received several Saudi and international awards for his contributions to e-learning.
