Feras Almusharria
Feras Abdullah Almusharria (Director, Writer)
Feras Almusharria is an experimental filmmaker and a Film Program Developer at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Specializing in visual storytelling, Almusharria began working in the film industry in 2010 and since has completed more than 30 film projects, including short films, YouTube miniseries and commercial film projects for large retail companies. He has also completed several projects from an ongoing body of artistic, experimental travel videos. Several of his projects have been featured in international film festivals.
Almusharria’s contribution to the local filmmaking community includes his establishing and leading the first film club in the Eastern Province — dedicated to networking, collaboration and elevating skills, the Ithra Film Society now includes more than 200 members and monthly meetings hosted at Ithra. Almusharria also regularly conducts seminars on "no budget filmmaking" for students in schools and universities.
Almusharria has also been the organizer and Project Manager for the fifth, sixth and seventh editions of Saudi Film Festival.
