Our attention spans play an important role in how we learn and perceive information. Our days are divided into spans of time; how we organize our time at work, at play and even in the lessons we teach. This session will connect these two ideas, how we organize our time in learning to complement attention spans.
In the past century, educational methods have remained static as traditional teaching approaches did not keep up with the evolving abilities and characteristics of students.

The SPAN session redefines education by introducing design thinking techniques aligned with Bloom’s Taxonomy. We will collaboratively create a toolkit across three phases: leveraging storytelling, visual communication, hands-on applications, and real-life challenges. This hands-on approach will allow us to experience and design solutions, fostering continuous improvement. SPAN empowers educators to bridge the gap between traditional methods and evolving student needs, ensuring a dynamic and effective educational experience.
