Alejandra is a Mexican filmmaker driven by her passion for the transformative power of storytelling for social change. She co-founded HOME Storytellers, a nonprofit organization dedicated to producing inspiring documentary films that amplify the voices of refugees, promote self-reliance, and empower women and girls in vulnerable situations.

Alejandra made her directorial debut with HOME Storytellers’ first feature-length documentary film, “The Neighborhood Storyteller” (2021). Her directorial vision brought this compelling film to life, capturing the hearts of audiences and earning critical acclaim.
