Gavin McCormack is a Montessori-trained teacher with over two decades of experience teaching in multiple countries around the world. He has been named the Montessori Australia Ambassador. He is passionate about promoting innovative educational methods that foster essential skills in students from an early age.
As a co-founder of Upschool.co and EducationInfluence.com, McCormack works tirelessly to bring about meaningful change in the education sector. He has built nine schools and several libraries and runs three teacher training centers in Nepal. His commitment to improve the education system has also led him to conduct teacher training sessions in the Middle East, Asia, Europe and Australia. 
In addition, McCormack delivered a TED talk on how education can change the world, and he is a children's author whose works focus on life skills such as friendship, kindness, acceptance and inclusion. He has also written a best-selling book called “The Potential in Every Child” which enables every parent to include Montessori in their homes. 
McCormack’s dedication to promote education equality has been recognized with numerous awards, including being named one of the top ten most influential global educators in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 and being nominated for Australian of the Year in 2018.
