Maria Alem: Senior Manager of Learning programs in Art Jamil 
Maria works to cultivate a culture of life-long learning within all aspects in Hayy, from programs at Hayy Explorers (Art Jameel’s dedicated children’s space) to Hayy Library (Art Jameel’s upcoming research library). Before joining Hayy, Maria lectured at DAH University and worked as a researcher at Darat Safeya Binzagr where she translated her book from Arabic to English. Maria holds a BA in Philosophy and Middle Eastern studies from Brown University and an MA from SOAS, University of London.
