Mark Ashmore founded Future Artists in 2009, and is currently completing his doctoral thesis in Computer Science about how Generation Z (those born after 1995) are consuming music differently via XR technology.

Mark is also a storyteller using film, theater and XR as the platforms to create meaningful and thought-provoking experiences for his audiences. Mark is a feature film director and producer on the projects "The Lost Generation" and "Portal" and has twice been nominated for an Off Fest award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for producing new writing by up and coming talent.
