Join Ramsey Naja in the quest to tackle The Desperate Pitch. A full-day workshop that offers a high-intensity simulation of agency life, challenging teams to compete for a major pitch while handling various client issues. In just six intense hours, participants will experience the pressure of agency work. Throughout the workshop, teams will face frequent interruptions from client requests, crises, urgent opportunities, and personnel issues. In learning how to handle these hurdles, the emphasis will be on generating ideas and effective presentations rather than execution. An intermediate skill level in advertising and marketing is recommended, but beginners with professional experience are welcome to participate. Ramsey will be delivering the session with Kuba Skowroński, Head of Design for the Crowd Agency, and Haya Alnafjan, Co-founder of Boost Digital Marketing.

Learning objectives:

  • Creativity thrives in desperation: think of your favorite action movie hero trapped and in mortal danger. That’s when they display their best.
  • Ideas rule. While automation wreaks havoc with traditional jobs, the human ability to produce unexpected solutions trumps machines.
  • Survival depends on multitasking: if you cannot juggle, this circus is not for you.
  • Advertising is about being noticed. There’s no point in being a shrinking violet if you want publicity, and yet, 89 percent of ads are forgotten.
