Christian Huizenga holds a BFA from Emily Carr University and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Toronto. He is an interdisciplinary architect, designer and fabricator who works primarily in large-scale public installations, producing projects which necessitate both a sensitivity to material and skilled craftsmanship. Huizenga’s work activates public spaces through the creation of interactive works that thoughtfully reflect the history of a site and invite cross-cultural contact and collaboration.
