Javier Peña — Ibáñez, an architect with a studio in Madrid, is the Director of Concéntrico, the Logroño International Festival of Design and Architecture. He focuses on the management, curation and dissemination of cultural projects in architecture and design. Peña — Ibáñez  trained at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid and Universidad Politécnica. Concéntrico combines the realization of other projects in the context of architecture and the city, such as artistic direction of TAC! Festival de Arquitectura Urbana in Granada, co-curating exhibitions, and directing the documentary Punto de Inflexión. He has taught at various centers and has been a jury member in the Barcelona Building Construmat Awards and the COAM Architecture Week in Madrid. He has collaborated with various institutions, including Concello de Pontevedra, Fundación Arquia, Ayuntamiento de Logroño, Gobierno de La Rioja, Fundación Cultural de los Arquitectos de La Rioja, CentroCentro Cibeles, and others.
