Have you ever wondered about how chairs in your workplace usually have specific dimensions that fit your working space? What if your chair was the size of your thumb and your desk was the size of an elephant and thin as paper?

The standard ratios and dimensions that designers adhere to are essential because they make the design more practical, functional and efficient. But what if we break them?

Through our workshop, we want you to challenge your preconceptions of what constitutes "normal" size and dimension by breaking the conventions of proportion and scale in order to construct full-sized objects. In our workshop, you will investigate the constraints that are often placed on objects of design, so you can go against all these rules and norms by applying your own ratios and scales in "unconventional" ways.

Get ready with us to construct your own unique “object” and reimagine how it can be connected and altered in an innovative way.
