This three-day workshop redefines architectural design and construction through the integration of Augmented Reality (AR) with environmentally sustainable practices. Participants will engage in the creation of a highly innovative prototype structure using waste material from date palms — an abundant and eco-friendly resource in the region.

By harnessing local biomaterials, this workshop aims to generate unique, locally relevant solutions that contribute to the sustainable development of Saudi identity and culture. Instead of relying on traditional design drawings, we will use holographic instructions derived from live digital design models to guide craftsmanship. This innovative approach not only empowers builders and expands the possibilities for architectural innovation, but also holds the potential to spawn new local industries that foster economic growth and sustainable development.

This workshop was designed for anyone interested in Architecture, Interior design, and Urban design.
