The Saudi Film Festival is an annual non-profit cultural event organized by the Cinema Association In partnership with Ithra, and sponsored by the Film Commission.

The festival opens a new door in Saudi culture to experience commercial movies, promoting and celebrating the artistic and other elements of the film industry, as well as to nurture and encourage the Saudi filmmaking industry itself.

The festival also provides a distinguished package of cultural and enriching programs which include seminars and advanced workshops, in addition to serving as a platform for production companies, producers and filmmakers highlight their projects in the film market. It also translates and provides a set of books, that will enrich the Arab library in the filmmaking and cinema literature genres. For more information please click here

Saudi Film Festival 9th edition

For its 9th edition, the Saudi Film Festival returns as a distinguished annual cultural event. Hosted by the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra), organized by the Saudi Cinema Association and supported by the Film Commission of the Ministry of Culture, the festival puts Saudi literary and cultural contributions to the film industry, filmmakers and talent from the Kingdom’s cinema sector once again in the spotlight.
